The College of Education and Health Professions carries out our University mission and values with a direct impact on our communities through research-based professional practice and a variety of learning opportunities applicable to real-world experiences. With dedication to health, learning, and social well-being, our programs provide invaluable education for a variety of career opportunities, advanced professional programs, or post graduate programs. Offerings in the areas of Education, Nursing, Social Work, and Sport and Exercise Science are accessible and student-centered, including undergraduate and graduate programs as well as specialized certificates, in both online and face-to-face courses.

Our faculty provide expertise in several domains including education, nursing, and social work. Faculty research covers a wide range of topics including health promotion, health communication, decision support, health disparities for disadvantaged groups, and access to healthcare.

The Ellen Finley Earhart Department of Nursing at Park University offers program options in Kansas City. Our flexible scheduling, dedicated faculty, and relationships with hospitals and medical facilities throughout Kansas City provide current and future nurses with valuable opportunities to achieve their educational goals.

Park University’s BSN program combines the art and science of nursing with a foundation in the liberal arts to prepare graduates who will assume the scope of practice expected of the professional nurse. Enjoy the benefits of one-on-one instruction with small class sizes and a state-of-the-art skills lab only a short drive from downtown Kansas City at our main Parkville campus.
