Information and Computer Science Degree

信息与计算机科学(ICS)学位课程培养学生应用解决问题和批判性思维技能，并使用流行的计算机技术来创建技术解决方案. ICS students may choose from the following concentrations:

• Computer Science – prepares students for a wide range of careers such as applications programmer, software engineer, data scientist, database administrator, and systems analyst. 任何在数学方面有良好天赋的学生都被鼓励去探索这种专注.
• Information Technology – prepares students for a wide range of careers such as system administration, system support, testing and technical writing. In addition to learning about traditional computer-related topics, 学生将在与核心信息技术课程合作的兴趣领域中选择两个序列.

Courses in the Information and Computer Science programs are offered online or in person. If you want face-to-face classes, we offer blended courses at specific campus centers across the country. • Benn Garrett, one of ICS/Cybersecurity seniors won an InfoSec scholarship (undergraduate category) on Sept 30, 2019. • On November 3, 2018, 两支由bbin计算机科学专业的学生组成的队伍参加了在奥拉西的Garmin举办的一年一度的ICPC(国际大学生编程大赛)中北部编程比赛, KS. The team of Michael Dake, Vincent Payne, and Marcus Shivers solved 2 problems and placed 1st of ten teams at the site. The team of Lauren Arant-Garrett, Jakhongir Rikhsiboev, and Rogi Solorzano were right behind, also solving 2 problems and taking 2nd place. All six students are Information and Computer Science seniors.
